Are you looking for a business consultant, mentor or educator with proven experience?

Here are some examples of the work I have completed. This portfolio is a small selection of business and enterprise development, grant writing, project management, training and facilitation services. If you would like more information, just give me a call.

Client: School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) Australia

SSE runs learning programs across Australia for people from all backgrounds who have an idea or business with a community benefit. My role is to facilitate the Social Change 101 program and action learning sets with social entrepreneurs as they learn about, establish and grow their businesses.

Client: The Small Business Institute

Delivered a series of workshops and one-to-one mentoring for participants of the Indigo Shire Women In Business program and Hume Region Learn Local Marketing Mentorship program.

The Women In Business program is designed to guide those who intend to launch a business or wish to grow their existing business with confidence and a clear direction.

The Learn Local Marketing Mentorship program develops practical skills to understand and reach customers.

Client: The Small Business Mentoring Service

Includes provision of mentoring services for micro and small business. Services include business analysis, competitor analysis, customer research, planning (strategic, operational, marketing, human resource and financial), goal setting and review.

Client: Indigenous Business Australia

Preferred service provider for Indigenous Business Australia from 2008 to 2015 for the provision of business support, mentoring and training for small business owners. This required an integrated, flexible and collaborative approach to the sharing of skills and knowledge. Inception, business and needs analysis, action planning, the setting of measurable goals and implementation of these were just some of the services offered.

Client: Alpine Health

Designed and delivered a series of induction, training and professional development workshops for the Alpine Independent Aged Care Service Inc volunteers.

Client: Beechworth Neighbourhood Centre

Facilitated the Indigo Fireflies program which built the skills and networks of women in Indigo Shire communities to proactively prepare for disasters, recognising and enhancing the leadership roles women play in such situations and the aftermath.

Client: The Centre for Continuing Education

Design and delivery of a Recognition of Prior Learning Development program. This program was a comprehensive approach to skill, knowledge and resource development in the context of continuous improvement and organisational change. The program was facilitated in collaboration with key staff of a registered training organisation who progressively assumed greater responsibility for development of resources, coordination of team activities and continuous improvement and sharing of learning with colleagues.

Throughout the program’s delivery, activities were designed to build organisational knowledge and enhance effective and sustainable changes in the workplace.

Formal program evaluation and anecdotal feedback suggests that in addition to the original goals of the program being met, the organisation’s most significant learning occurred in the areas of business growth, change, organisational learning behaviours and team building.

A second program followed, designed to further integrate and develop the skills and knowledge of key staff and inform policy and process update.

Client: CIRE Inc. and Pines Learning

Facilitated workshops that explored formation of a strategic alliance between organisations and supported development of a shared business case, MOUs and writing of their successful grant application.

Client: Anchor Inc.

Supported (with Tammy Atkins) program development and writing of a submission to government regarding a community, philanthropic, government partnership solution for young pregnant women.

Client: Regional Development Australia – Murray

Designed and delivered (with Tammy Atkins) a workshop on becoming grant ready and grant writing.

Client: Regional Development Australia – Riverina

Designed and delivered (with Tammy Atkins) a workshop on writing a winning business case.
