Pro bono business consulting services

Do you have a small budget but make a BIG contribution?

I dedicate part of my working week to assisting and advising community groups and not-for profits with great values but not-so-great budgets.

I also work as a business mentor with the Small Business Mentoring Service, a volunteer-based, not for profit organisation that provides high quality, low cost mentoring services to small business.

What is pro bono business consulting and how does it work?

“Pro bono” comes from the Latin phrase “pro bono public” (meaning “for the public good”).

In practice, it means the provision of services on a free or low cost basis with no expectation of anything in return.

Organisations who work “for the public good” typically contact me and I determine whether we’re able to work together on a full or partial pro bono basis. My decision is based on specific selection criteria, including your values and goals and my capacity to take on additional pro bono work.

Previous pro bono business consulting projects

Some of the pro bono projects I’ve worked on recently include:

  • Grant writing services for Beechworth Food Co-Op
  • Facilitation of Alpine Independent Aged Care Service Inc program (50% fee waived)
  • Facilitation of VCAL students’ social enterprise business planning and launch program (nominal fee paid)
